PRINCE ANDREW, DUKE OF YORK, b.1960

Prince Andrew, Duke of York, is the third child and second son of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. She was granted arms in 1963, consisting of the royal arms of the United Kingdom differenced by a white label of three points, the center point charged with a blue anchor. This difference is the same as that used for the two previous dukes of York, his grandfather, King George VI, and great-grandfather, King George V.

Princess Andrew was admitted to the Order of the Garter in 2006 and encircles his shield with the Garter. Before that, his senior-most order was as a Knight Grand Cross of the Royal Victorian Order.
